BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Fredonia State women's basketball team dropped a 69-60 game at Plattsburgh Friday night.
Jaimie Warren (Lake View/Frontier) led the way for the Blue Devils recording her eighth double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Becky Hebert (Hilton) added 19 points.
Kathleen Payne for Plattsburgh, who trails only Hebert in the SUNYAC scoring race, dropped 24 on the night.
Plattsburgh went into the half with a 33-26 lead. The Cardinals led by as many as 17 in the second half.
Turnovers proved to be costly for the Devils who recorded 21 compared to Plattsburgh's 13. The rebound battle favored Plattsburgh as well, 50-41.
The SUNYAC-tournament-bound Blue Devils (9-8 SUNYAC, 14-9 overall) will be able to determine their first round opponent after tomorrow night's regular-season finale.
They wrap up the regular season Saturday at Potsdam (4-13, 6-18). Tip-off slated for 2 p.m.
