FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Stephanie Rosa (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phiilipsburg) was a double winner Saturday during Fredonia's 181-118 women's swimming & diving loss to Canisius.Rosa finished first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.62 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:15.81.
She was also part of a second-place Fredonia relay.
Larissa Dobson (Hamburg, N.Y./Eden) finished first in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:31.89 and was finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.55.Sam Rokos (Delanson, N.Y./Duanesburg) took second in two individual events: the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley. She was also part of the 200-yard medley relay team with Rosa, Dobson, and
Ellie Brion (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) which finished second. Rokos finished fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
In diving, Meghan Bartlett (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown) was the 1-meter springboard winner and was second off the 3-meter board. Heather Colby (Owego, N.Y./Owego) was first in the 3-meter diving event and second in the 1-meter, while Sam Kowalewski (Attica, N.Y./Attica) took third in the 3-meter and fourth in the 1-meter.The Blue Devils will be off for the holiday break until they return to Steele Hall on Jan.17 vs. Grove City.
