RESULTS
BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Both Fredonia State swimming and diving teams were victorious Friday in a dual meet against the Brockport Golden Eagles.
The Blue Devil women were 129-11 winners, while the men held a 171 1/2 to 66 1/2 advantage.
Top performers for the women were sophomore
Sam Rokos (Delanson), who was first in the 100-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle, and senior
Katelyn Haley (Canandaigua), who won both springboard diving competitions. Her 1-meter score of 255.95 points requalified her for zone championships.
On the men's side, senior John Estanislau (East Longmeadow, Mass.) won the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly; senior Adrian Van Hall (Owego) was first in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle; and senior Andrew Case (Clarence Center) won the 200-yard backstroke. All three along with senior Dave Adamczak (Akron) combined to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.
In addition, freshman Arron Carlson (LeRoy/Notre Dame) won the 3-meter board and Jeff Matter (East Aurora) took the 1-meter board.
