RESULTS
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State sophomore
Sam Rokos (Delanson/Duanesburg) was a triple winner as the women's swimming and diving teams returned to the pool for the first time this semester.
Rokos won the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, and was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that touched first. Rokos timed in at 2:00.64 in the 100, and 5:24.82 in the 500.
She was accompanied by
Ellie Brion (Canandaigua),
Jenni Smith (Penn Argyl/Easton) and
Kristen Champoux (Niagara Falls) in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The quartet turned in a time of 1:44.02.
Diver
Katelyn Haley claimed the 3-meter board with a score of 252.15. She finished second off the 1-meter board, just three points behind Ithaca's Nickie Greisemer.
The Devils had spent the previous week training in south Florida. It was the team's first meet in roughly one month.
