WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Fredonia State improved to 4-3 with a 9-0 win Thursday over the D'Youville Spartans at the Miller Tennis Center.
Playing in her first collegiate matches, freshman
Phoebe Langdon (Syracuse) one of six Blue Devils to win two matches. She defeated Marissa Benzin in singles, and paired with junior
Sara DiFulvio (Rochester) to defeat Jessica Lampka and Courtney Fox in doubles.
DiFulvio also defeated Lampka, 6-1, 6-2, in their singles match. Other singles winners were senior
Miller Barmasse (Lockport), senior
Molly Zanetti (Saratoga Springs), junior
Stephanie Thompson (Verona), and junior
Emily Fulkerson (Seneca Falls).
The other winning doubles pairs were Barmasse with Zanetti, and Thompson with Fulkerson.
