BOXSCORE OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State baseball team concluded its three-game series with a 3-1 loss at Oswego on Sunday.
In a game that took an hour and forty minutes, Fredonia State's Zach Jordan and Oswego's Jon Stevens each tossed complete games. Jordon (5-1) allowed eight hits and three runs over eight innings, walking none and striking out two.
Stevens (2-1) scattered five hits and allowed one run, striking out three and walking one.
Oswego scored first in the second inning. Andrew Lazzaro singled home Scott Buniak from second.
The Devils tied the game in the fifth when
Conner Lorenzo singled home
Matt Casilio with two outs.
Oswego tacked on the final two runs in the sixth innings. With two outs, a pair of singles followed by a Matt Mascari double plated two runs.
Oswego now stands at 9-6 in the SUNYAC and 16-11 overall.
The Devils (7-8 SUNYAC, 16-11 overall) are scheduled to play host to D'Youville on Tuesday at Ludwig Field. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
