BOXSCORE 2 FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State dropped both ends of its SUNYAC softball doubleheader with Buffalo State, 7-1 and 13-5, Monday at Blue Devil Field.
The Blue Devils led 1-0 in Game 1 and trailed throughout Game 2. The two losses ended their day with a 5-16 overall record and 2-8 in the SUNYAC.

Alyssa Morgan had three hits each in the doubleheader, one hit in the first and two in the second. Senior left fielder
Anne Wasik also had two hits in Game 2.
In the process, Morgan extended her hitting streak to 15 games, while Bartkowiak stole a base in Game 2, her school-record 54th as a Blue Devil. She broke the previous record of 52, held by Heather Mercer, in a game last week at Allegheny.
Buffalo State's Maddie Coneys started and pitched complete games in both ends of the doubleheader, Taylor Swiatek had five hits in the two games. The Bengals improved to 6-4 in the SUNYAC and 12-12 overall.
The Blue Devils return to action Wednesday when they visit Rochester Institute of Technology, followed by SUNYAC home doubleheaders Friday and Saturday vs. Geneseo and Brockport.
