BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Fredonia State reached the century mark for the first time in 10 seasons Saturday to close out their season with a 103-98 SUNYAC men's basketball win over the Brockport Golden Eagles.

Amir Billups (Buffalo/Starpoint) and
Dalton Kashmer (South Dayton/Pine Valley), led the Blue Devils with 25 points and 20 points, respectively. Kashmer also grabbed 11 rebounds.
John Ivy had 31 points for the Golden Eagles, who'll move on to the SUNYAC Tournament starting Tuesday.
The Blue Devils close out their season with a 7-17 record, 3-15 in the SUNYAC.
The game was a see-saw struggle punctuated by numerous fouls, free throws, and a lenghty injury delay late in the first half. There were 14 lead changes and 12 ties while the teams combined for 60 fouls and 92 trips to the foul line, where the Blue Devils were 41 of 49.
The Blue Devils top scorer,
Tyrone Clark (Elmira/Elmira Free), was limited to eight minutes early in the first half after picking up three quick fouls. He eventually fouled out in the second half with nine points.
Sophomore guard
Ray Parris (Brooklyn/Benjamin Bannaker) picked up the scoring slack, only to leave the game with 3:35 left in the first half when he was injured in a collision with a Brockport player. He left the game with 14 points, his best output of the season, and did not return.
Parris came into the game averaging 2.2 points per game.
Following a delay of nearly 30 minutes, play resumed with Brockport holding a 43-40 lead. The Blue Devils closed out the first half with an 8-0 run and trailed 49-48 at the break. Billups had six points during the run. He also made four straight free throws late in the game following a personal foul and technical foul call against Brockport.
Kashmer and Lyles also made clutch free throws down the stretch.
The 103 points were the most by the Blue Devils since they recorded a school-record 120 points vs. Hilbert during the 2002-03 season.
In addition to Billups and Kashmer, fellow seniors
Devin Case (Gasport/Royalton-Hartland) and
Adam LaQuier (Rensselaer Falls/Canton) were playing in their final collegiate game. All four were recognized during a pre-game ceremony Friday at Steele Hall.
