RESULTS
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's swimming and diving team defeated Brockport, 131-86, on the team's final home meet of the season.
The Devils claimed victories in 10 of 13 events.
Senior diver
Ryan Fuller shattered Scott Horsington's school and pool record for six dives on the 3-meter board with a tally of 331.40. Horsington, the diving coach at Brockport, was in the Natatorium to see his record fall.
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Eric Jordan,
John Estanislau,
Andrew Case, and Dave Adamczak won in a time of 1:38.78.
The Devils finished one-two-three in the 500 freestyle, with Case (5:16.38) finishing just ahead of
Will Baker and
Conor Drmacich.
Fredonia State turned in the top two swimmers in a trio of events. In the 200 freestyle, it was Baker (1:50.41) and Jordan (1:51.00). In the 400 IM,
Liam Jones (4:26.83) and
Justin Hawes (4:41.31). The 100 freestyle saw Case and Jones turn in times of 49.75 and 49.93, respectively.
Other winners included
Adrian Van Hall in the 1,650 freestyle (17:34.14), Estanislau in the 50 freestyle (21.71), and Jordan in the 100 backstroke (54.78).
The meet also marked the final appearance in Steele Hall for seniors Drmacich, Fuller, and Charlie Arrigo.
The Devils travel to Cortland next Saturday.
