BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's basketball team fell 56-41 to Oneonta State on Saturday afternoon.
The loss drops the Devils to 1-1 in SUNYAC play and 5-2 overall. Oneonta sports identical records.
Jaimie Warren (Lakeview/Frontier) led the Devils with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Becky Hebert (Hilton) added 10 points.
After shooting a lofty 58 percent in last night's victory, the Devils were slowed by shooting 30 percent (14 of 47) from the field. They were two of 14 from three-point range. Oneonta shot 42 percent from the floor.
The Devils outrebounded O-State, 34-33, but the Red Dragons held a significant 16-6 edge in steals.
Alyshia Crawford led Oneonta with 13 points.
The Devils play host to Alfred State in a non-conference tilt next Saturday.
