FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State staked nationally ranked Plattsburgh to an early lead and was unable to recover in SUNYAC men's hockey Friday at Steele Hall.

The game featured the first collegiate goal for Blue Devil freshman forward
Travis Fernley (Calgary, Alberta). Junior forward

The loss dropped the Blue Devils to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Plattsburgh took the early 1-0 lead on Constantine's goal at 3:01 of the first period, his third goal of the year. Mason made it 2-0 just over a minute later, and Gorman added to the lead later in the period.
