CORTLAND, N.Y. -- CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's basketball team fell to the Cortland Red Dragons, 53-44, on Saturday. The Devils now stand at 2-4 in the SUNYAC and 7-5 overall.

Jaimie Warren (Lakeview) had a season-high 19 points and added 10 rebounds.
Becky Hebert (Hilton) scored 12 points to go along with 7 rebounds.
Sabrina MaCauley (Newark) contributed a strong performance on the boards with 10 rebounds.
Cortland led 29-16 at the break. The Devils then opened the second half on an 11-2 run to pull within four points, 31-27.
The Blue Devils kept it close down the stretch pulling within seven points, 49-42, following a layup by
Nikole Lindquist (Pine Valley) with just under two minutes to go.
Megan Touhey and Caysea Cohen led the Dragons with 9 points apiece.
Fredonia State returns to action when they play host to SUNYAC rival Brockport on Tuesday. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
