BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Penn State Behrend scored twice in the final nine minutes to rally past Fredonia State, 2-1, in the nightcap of the Blue Devil Clarion Classic.
Jake Gamble scored the tying goal at 81:32 and Eric Vonovic netted the game-winner with 39 seconds remaining in regulation.
Behrend improved to 2-1 while the Blue Devils fell to 0-4.
Fredonia State broke on top 1-0 in the 38th minute as freshman
Patrick Schuber (Webster) netted his first collegiate goal.
Schuber headed a ball from about 30 yards out over Behrend goalkeeper Jarrod Wassell after receiving a pass into the box from senior defender

Gamble's tying goal, an easy tap into the net at 81:32, was the result of a pass into the box by Vunovic.
On the game-winner, Vunovic raced up the center of the field as screamed for the ball while Jimmy Belack occupied two Blue Devil defenders on the left wing. Belack's pass found Vunovic in full stride with no defender between him and Fredonia State goalkeeper

The Classic resumes Saturday with two more games. Behrend meets Buffalo State at 3 p.m. on the University Stadium turf field. The Blue Devils face Houghton at 5 p.m. on the grass field.
Houghton defeated Buffalo State, 4-0, earlier Friday.
