BOXSCORE
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State fell to 0-3 with a 1-0 men's soccer loss Tuesday to Geneva at University Stadium.

Geneva's Teddy Krzywiecki broke a scoreless game in the 65th minute with a header off a crossing pass into the box by Garrett Masters. It was the first goal of the season for Krzywiecki, a senior from Bridgeville, Pa.

Sophomore goalkeeper Bryan Butler (Millersville, Md.) made two saves to earn the shutout, his second of the year.

Fredonia State sophomore goalkeeper A.J. Grecco (Buffalo) was credited with four saves.

The Blue Devils were outshot 15-6.

Forced to press up late in the game, Fredonia State had two good scoring chances but both shots sailed over the cross bar – one by junior defender Jake Persons (Albany) and the other by senior midfielder Taylor Page (Holley).

Fredonia State returns to action Friday when they face Penn State Behrend at 7 p.m. Friday as part of the Blue Devil Clarion Classic.
