FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Brockport won five singles matches to rally past Fredonia State, 6-3, in SUNYAC women's tennis on the Steele Hall courts.
The Blue Devils led 2-1 after wins by the doubles teams of
Alison Phillips (Orchard Park) and
Sara DiFulvio (Rochester), and Jess Johnston (Fredonia) and
Miller Barmasse (Lockport). They managed just one singles win, by
Molly Zanetti (Saratoga Springs).
The loss dropped Fredonia State to 5-2 overall and 1-2 in the SUNYAC. The Blue Devils are back in action 1 p.m. Saturday at Daemen.
Brockport improved to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
