FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State women's tennis improved to 5-1 with a 7-2 home win Tuesday over Pitt-Bradford.
Jess Johnston (Fredonia),
Molly Zanetti (Saratoga Springs), and
Stephanie Thompson (Verona) each improved to 5-1 in singles competition as well as 5-1 in doubles, while No. 1 singles player
Alison Phillips (Orchard Park) won for the second straight day. Fredonia State's other singles winner was
Sara DiFulvio (Rochester).
The loss dropped the Panthers to 5-5.
Fredonia State will meet Brockport in a SUNYAC match starting at 6 p.m. Friday under the Steele Hall Courts lights.
