IWLCA NCAA DIVISION III RANKINGS/WEEK 9

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- For the second straight week, the Fredonia State women's lacrosse team has received votes in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll.

The Blue Devils are among a group of six teams listed in the category of "also receiving votes" -- just below the Top 20 list. They also received votes last week, the first time a Fredonia State women's lacrosse team had been recognized in the national poll.

Cortland stayed at No. 2. The Red Dragons defeated the Blue Devils, 8-7, last Saturday at University Stadium.

Another SUNYAC team, Oneonta, also received votes.

Salisbury is No. 1 nationally.

The Blue Devils play a non-conference home match at 4 p.m. today vs. Elmira before closing out the regular season at home 1 p.m. Saturday vs. Oswego.
