AMHERST, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team fell to Daemen College, 3-1, on Thursday, snapping a three-match win streak.

The Devils fell 25-16 in the first match before evening things by taking the second, 26-24. Daemen took the final two matches by scores of 25-16 and 25-14.

Junior Kaitlin Orcutt (West Seneca) led the Devils with 11 kills. Senior Lindsey Olson (Portville) added 10. Freshman setter Kelly Edinger (Rochester) had 28 assists and 10 digs.

Lauren Hokaj (Lancaster) led the team with 27 digs and Meredith Smietana (Cheektowaga) had three blocks.

The Devils fell to 17-14 on the season. They play host to Hiram and Ithaca Colleges in a tri-match this Saturday.
