BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State ended its men's soccer season Tuesday with a 3-2 win over the Hobart Statesmen.

The win left the Blue Devils with a 5-13-1 record. They failed to qualify for the SUNYAC Tournament.

Luke Tylutki (Pittsford), Patrick Schuber (Webster), and Jay Dry (Lockport) scored for the Blue Devils. Schuber also had two assists.

Caetano Sanchez and Jacob Fox had the Hobart goals. Sanchez was also credited with an assist.

The Blue Devils were outshot 30-7 and goalkeeper Mike Schreiner (Spencerport) was called on to make 11 saves.

Sanchez opened the scoring at 21:48 when he received a pass from Alex Kittelberger, settled the ball, and chipped a shot into the open right side.

The teams combined for three goals in a span of six minutes early in the second half.

Tylutki scored his first goal of the season to forge a 1-1 tie at 53:46. It came after passes by David Nichols (Fredonia) and Schuber.

The Statesmen regained the lead, 2-1, when Fox chipped the ball over Schreiner, who had fallen after he came off his line, at 59:42.

Following the ensuing re-start, Schuber dribbled from midfield through two defenders and struck a left-footer past Hobart goalkeeper Mike Lucas at 59:27.

Dry scored the game-winning goal -- his third of the season -- when he received a through ball from Schuber after Schuber received a through ball from Mike Biggane (Amhert). Dry's shot from the left wing beat Lucas at 78:36.
