PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's soccer team beat the Plattsburgh Cardinals, 3-0, Friday afternoon.
Meaghan Meszaros (Newfield) had four saves, recording her fifth shutout of the season.
Kristi Putzig (Williamsville) started the scoring for the Blue Devils with her fourth goal of the season. The goal came from a well placed pass by
Katie Kleine (Cazenovia) at the 27:03 mark.
Kleine assisted the Blue Devils' second goal as well, leading
Reilly Condidorio (LeRoy) ahead of defenders at the 46:23 mark. Freshman,
Kayla Stayer (Allegany) added her first career goal eight minutes later.
The Blue Devils improve to 3-2-1 in the conference and 9-3-1 overall. Plattsburgh falls to 1-4-0 in the conference and 5-9-0 overall.
Fredonia State plays Saturday afternoon at Potsdam.
