FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State sophomore John Estanislau (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was a triple winner Friday in the Blue Devils' home meet vs. NCAA Division II in men's swimming.

Estanislau was first in the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard breast stroke, and as part of the Blue Devils' 400-yard medley relay. His time of 47.80 seconds in the 100 free improved upon previous-best time this season. He is the current No. 1 in the SUNYAC.

In addition, his 200 breast stroke time was 2:19.35. The winning relay time was 3:43.37.

Andrew Case (Clarence Center), a sophomore, also took part in the winning relay, and posted an individual win in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.31).

Other relay members were sophomore Eric Jordan (Lancaster) and senior Robert Sweeny (Fredonia).

On the women's side, sophomore Breena Cogliandro (Penfield) scored 335.86 points off the 1-meter board and 347.99 points in the 3-meter event.

Edinboro won the meet in both genders.
