Laura Culhane played her final collegiate game Saturday at Oswego and broke the single-season school record for assists.
OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Fredonia State closed out its season Saturday with a 16-12 victory over Oswego.
The victory was the Blue Devils' 12th of the season, a new single-season school record. They improved to 12-5 overall and 5-4 in the SUNYAC.
In addition,
Laura Culhane -- the team's lone senior -- broke her own single-season record for assists. She had four Saturday, two more than last year.
Karli Brinthaupt had five goals for the second straight game while all-time leading scorer
Amy Simon added three goals and three assists to her ledger.
Rachael Reinis added four goals and one assist, Simon added five groundballs, and
Megan Mietelski collected four draw controls.
Blue Devil goalkeeper
Casey Chiesa was credited with 12 saves. Chiesa played every minute of every game in net this season.
