FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State baseball team fell to Allegheny, 11-2, on Thusday afternoon.

The Gators did the bulk of the damage early, scoring seven times in the first two innings chasing starting pitcher Dan Greco from the game.

Zach Murray came on in relief and held Allegheny to one unearned run over the next five innings.

The Devils got on the board in the bottom of the third. Jon Messina laced a bases-loaded single to plate a pair of runs. A wild pitch put runners at second and third with now outs. A pair of strikeouts and a groundout ended the ralley with Allegheny holding a 7-2 lead.

Sean Larson worked two innings of relief allowing one run. Andy Dlugosz worked the final inning allowing two runs on a homerun.

The Devils fall to 14-18. They travel to Oswego for a three-game set on Saturday and Sunday.
