PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- Fredonia State dropped the third game of its SUNYAC series with Plattsburgh, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon.

The Blue Devils (11-12 overall, 0-8 SUNYAC) were down 5-0 before scoring their only run in the top of the fourth inning. Tom Dee Dee stole second following a lead-off walk and came around to score on a double by Taylor Gahagen double to left center.

Dee also had two of Fredonia State's five hits. Pat Shaughnessey was 4 for 4 with three RBI for the Cardinals (10-12 overall, 5-4 SUNYAC).

Brian Lansing (0-2) was the losing pitcher

The Blue Devils are schedule to face Brockport in a single game Wedneday afternoon at Ludwig Field.
