FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team dropped a 50-41 road contest at Geneseo on Tuesday evening.
The loss puts the Devils at 6-15 overall, and 3-12 in the SUNYAC. Geneseo improves to 10-12 overall, and 4-11 in conference play.
The Devils jumped out quickly in the game, their largest lead coming at 6:36 into the first half, leading 10-2. The Devils kept it close, trailing 22-20 after the first half.
Geneseo would maintain the lead the rest of the second half. Abe Miller led the Knights with 18 points.
The Devils were led by
Kevin Mitchell's nine points.
Adam Smith added eight points and 11 rebounds.
The men wrap up the regular season at home this weekend as they take on Potsdam and Plattsburgh.
