FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team defeated Penn State Behrend, 3-0, in Dods Hall on Wednesday.

The Devils took the three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-21.

Jennifer Newhouse led the offense with 14 kills. She was backed by Lindsey Olson's 11 kills.

Brittany Lis had 45 assists. Sarah Zureck had 22 digs. Jennifer Michelsen finished with 13 digs.

Behrend was led by Mary Sperry with 8 kills. Chelsea Magnusen had 15 assists. The Lions drop to 8-14 overall.

The Devils (14-9) are off this weekend during the college's fall break. They return to action next Wednesday as they take on the University of Rochester in Dods Hall.
