CORTLAND, N.Y. --- Sarah Ficarro was a double-winner Saturday despite Fredonia State's 168-132 loss to SUNY Cortland in women's swimming and diving.

Ficarro scored 252.65 points while winning 1-meter springboard diving. She came back to score 255.30 points off the 3-meter board. In addition, Katelyn Haley was second in the 3-meter and third in the 1-meter, and Ashley Keller was second in the 1-meter and fourth in the 3-meter.

In other events, Jenni Smith was victorious in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:15.45, just ahead of teammate Lizzie Lodinsky. Elizabeth Schake won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.46 seconds. Smith, Morgan Reisch, Schake, and Jennifer Benson won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:42.09.
