FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Geneseo downed Fredonia State, 72-68, in SUNAYC men's basketball action on Tuesday.
Tied 52-all midway through the second half, Geneseo took the lead for good following a Ryan Reifenhauser jumper at 9:52. Geneseo would lead by as many as seven.
Fredonia State was led by Adam Smith with 21 points. Joseph Monahan had 16. Jonathan Herrera had eight assists.
The Knights were paced by Mike Hoy with 18 points. Reifenhauser added 15 and Jordan Jones chipped in 14.
The teams played to a 32-all tie at the end of the first half.
Geneseo improves to 8-8 overall and 2-7 in the SUNYAC.
The Devils fall to 5-10 and 2-7. They travel to Oswego and Cortland this weekend.
