NEW PALTZ -- Fredonia State's
Luke Tylutki scored in the 58th minute to provide the winning margin in the Blue Devils' 1-0 SUNYAC road win over the New Paltz Hawks.
Tylutki headed in free kick into the box by
Tyler Williams at 57:17. It was Tylutki's second goal of the season and puncutated a good weekend by the freshman midfielder
"Tylutki was probably our best player of the weekend," head coach
P.J. Gondek said. "He was phenomenal."
The shutout was credited to
Bobby McGinnis with four saves. The Blue Devils also had two team saves.
Fredonia State improved to 2-1 in the SUNYAC, 3-6 overall. Next up is a Tuesday trip to Westminster (Pa.) Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
