ONEONTA, N.Y.—SUNY Oneonta junior Jonathan Kowalski broke a 1-1 tie in the 82nd minute with his second goal of the season to lift the Red Dragons to a 2-1 SUNYAC win against visiting Fredonia State on Friday.

Kowalski took a drop pass from sophomore Dan Josepher and blasted a shot to the upper right hand corner.  For Josepher, who had just entered the game less than one minute prior, notched his second assist of the season and raised his team-leading point total to eight.

Fredonia State (2-6/1-1 SUNYAC) had just scored the equalizer in the 78th minute on a corner kick.  Sophomore Tyler Williams (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) sent a ball in low and senior Jack Flechaus (Brockport/Brockport) was able to redirect it into the lower left hand corner of the goal.
