FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Baldwin-Wallace scored early in the second half to down Fredonia State, 2-1, in the nightcap of the Clarion Hotel Soccer Classic.
Baldwin-Wallace took a 1-0 lead at 7:09 when Carlin Vandendriessche (Medina, Ohio) scored.
Fredonia State drew even at 32:58 when Eli Lubberts (Ontario/Wayne) beat B-W goalkeeper Ryan Hulings (Centerville, Ohio). A long through ball brought Hulings out of the net, and Lubberts made his shot count.

Hulings had four stops for B-W.
Both teams are back in action Saturday -- B-W at 3 p.m. against Buffalo State on the University Stadium turf field, the Blue Devils (0-4) at 5 p.m. vs. John Carroll on the main field.
