POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Fredonia State rallied Friday night for a 5-3 SUNYAC road win over the Potsdam Bears.
The Blue Devils (3-5, 3-3 SUNYAC) trailed 3-1 midway through the second period before closing out the game with four staight goals.
Mitch Kulikoski (Calgary, B.C.) started the comeback with a power-play goal at 10:52 of the second period.
Will McLaughlin (Mountain Top, Pa.) netted the tying goal at 14:06 before
Bryan Ross (Livonia, Mich.) put in the eventual game-winner at 19:48.
Jordan Oye (Richmond, B.C.) closed out the scoring with a short-handed goal with 2:42 remaining. Oye also had a power-play goal at 8:48 of the first period.
Mark Friesen (Calgary, Alberta) made 36 saves in the Fredonia State goal. The Blue Devils were outshot, 39-26.
Fredonia State resumes SUNYAC competition Saturday night at Plattsburgh. The Cardinals fell to 2-4 in the SUNYAC with a 6-2 loss Friday to visiting Buffalo State.
