ALFRED, N.Y. -- A pool record by Fredonia State sophomore Sarah Ficarro led the Blue Devils to a non-conference victory over Alfred, 147-78.

Ficarro scored 253.80 points in the women's 3-meter springboard competition, a new Alfred pool mark. Ficarro also won the 1-meter competition with 240.64 points.

Morgan Reisch was a triple winner for the Blue Devils. She won the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:01.71), the 100 freestyle (:56.46), and was part of the winning 400 medley relay.

Elizabeth Schake was a individual winner in the 50 freestyle (:25.63) and the 200 butterfly (2:22.36), and Emily Ginty in the 200 individual medley (2:23.50) and the 500 freestyle (5:30.41).

Other Fredonia State individual winners were Jennifer Benson in the 1,000 freestyle (11:18.35and Jennifer Smith in the 200 backstroke. Stephanie Andrasek touched first in the 200 breast stroke in an exhibition swim.
