OSWEGO, N.Y. -- A 2-1 loss at Oswego on Saturday afternoon dropped Fredonia State to 3-2 in the SUNYAC, 5-8 overall.
The Blue Devils took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Ryan O'Donnell at 25:39. It was the sixth of the year for O'Donnell, a senior forward.
John Grabowski was credited with an assist.
The Lakers (5-5-1, 3-2-0 SUNYAC) took momentum into halftime with a goal by Bryan Pacchiana with 10 seconds left in the first half. Pacchiana's unassisted goal was the result of a direct kick.
Oswego's Jonathan Kuracina scored the game-winner at 55:07 with a shot over the head of Fredonia State goalkeeper

McGinnis was credited with four saves while Oswego's Matt Wopperer had nine saves. The Blue Devils had an 18-7 advantage in shots and a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Fredonia State returns to the friendly confines of University Stadium for the remaining five games on its regular-season schedule. First on the list of five is Potsdam at 4 p.m. Friday.
