Francia, a junior from Rochester, N.Y., and Greece-Olympia H.S., finished fourth Sept. 3 at the Buffalo State Daniel Walker Invitational. Competing for Fredonia State for the first time, the transfer student ran the 8,000 meters in 27:00. The three runners ahead of him were all from NCAA Divison II Edinboro (Pa.). The Blue Devils as a team finished tied with Geneseo for second place in the meet.
