Brown, a senior from Haverstraw, N.Y., was second in the shot put, and fourth in the hammer throw and the discus at The Geneseo Early-Season Invitational track & field meet. His shot put measured out at 14.73 meters (48 feet, 4 inches), the hammer throw covered 46.06 meters (151 feet, 1 inch), and the discus traveled 42.92 meters (140 feet, 10 inches), a new personal-best.
