Emily Carr, a sophomore goalkeeper from Conesus, N.Y., played the first half, making the two saves, in Fredonia State's 18-0 whitewash of Wells. The combination of Carr and Sydney Booth, who played the entire second half, recorded the first shutout in school history. Carr followed up that milestone performance with 14 saves in a 14-8 victory over Buffalo State, then closed the week with 12 saves vs. No. 12 ranked Geneseo, keeping the game close throughout. She saved 56 percent of the shots she faced during the week.
