In her first collegiate action, freshman Jenna Einink was named MVP of the Penn State Behrend Tip Off Tournament. On Friday, with Fredonia down one point and ten seconds left in the game, she sank both free throws to give the Devils a 73-72 victory over Grove City. She finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

The following night, she had 11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and five blocks in a 70-68 overtime victory over Hiram. Her averages were 16.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.0 blocks and 3.0 assists.
