A junior winger from Richardson, Texas, Ortiz had a goal in each of Fredonia's weekend wins over Daniel Webster. He earned the No. 1 star after scoring a goal in a 4-3 win Friday. He was the No. 2 star with a goal and two assists in Saturday's 6-1 win. Ortiz has had at least one point in seven of the last eight games and leads the Blue Devils with 13 points in 12 games. He also leads Fredonia with three game-winning goals.
