Helps, a freshman forward from The Bronx, averaged 22.5 points and 14.0 rebounds in his first two collegiate games as the Blue Devils came away with one win and one loss at Allegheny College's Greg Richards '08 Memorial Tip-Off Tournament. His 22 points and 19 rebounds against Pitt.-Titusville came in the win, 75-50. He also blocked four shots. Helps also had 23 points and 9 rebounds in a season-opening 80-72 loss to SUNY Canton.
