Whittemore was first for the team and third overall in 26:39 for 8,000 meters to lead the Blue Devils over nine other full teams at the Houghton Highlander Invitational over a muddy course. The Blue Devils scored 39 team points, same as they scored the previous weekend while winning the Behrend race.
