Friesen made 60 saves in two games as the Blue Devils swept Potsdam and Plattsburgh in Steele Hall for the first time in seven years. His 2-0 shutout of Potsdam was Friesen's second of the season and his fifth as a collegian. The lone goal he allowed to Plattsburgh in a 2-1 win came on a power play.  The two wins left Friesen with a 5-6-1 record in SUNYAC games, with a 2.56 goals-against average and a save percentage of .913.
