Mietelski, a senior defender, was instrumental in helping the Blue Devils hold the Cortland offense in check during an 8-7 SUNYAC loss Saturday. The Red Dragons, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division III, came into the game averaging nearly 17.5 goals per game. For the entire season, Mietelski is first on the team in draw controls and second in caused turnovers and ground balls (statistics subject to change pending a review of the Cortland game).
