Jerry Reilly is in his fifth season as assistant coach. He served as a volunteer assistant during the 2003-04 season, and has been the Fredonia State Sports Information Director since 2003.
He is a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School and St. Bonaventure University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Following graduation, he worked at the Dunkirk Observer for 25 years in various capacities, including sports editor.
Reilly has served as a youth baseball and softball coach in the Dunkirk Little League, and as a baseball coach in the former Dunkirk Babe Ruth League.
He is a member of the Chautauqua Men’s Senior 25-and-Over Baseball League and has been a certified high school baseball umpire for 28 years in the Chautauqua County board. He is the board’s high school assignment secretary. He and with his wife, Tina, reside in Dunkirk and have four grown children.
