Before Fredonia: All-state, all-league, team captain, and 12-time letter winner at Holy Trinity H.S. in Hicksville, N.Y. ... head coach was Eugenia Bradshaw ... ran 800-meter anchor leg on sprint medley relay at the Millrose Games trials. "After a great lead from my team, I ran my best time ever by five seconds and (we) qualified for the Games" ... also participated in soccer and sweimming & diving ... National Merit Scholarship qualifier.

Reason she choose Fredonia: "Fredonia has everything I wanted academically and a track team that made me feel welcome and supported before I even attended the school."
