Men's Swimming and Diving Vinny Shioleno

Fredonia State finishes SUNYACS

,BUFFALO, N.Y. --- The Fredonia State men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the fourth and final day of competition at the SUNYAC championship. "We're all really happy with the results from this week's finale, and I'm proud of our team's effort over the course of the long meet and the season as a whole," noted head coach Bill Bradley. The Devils would show a lot of promise and individual success but as team would ultimately finish eighth overall.

Alexander Wright would finish 33rd in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.46. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Noah Wisniewski finished 12th overall in 2:25.77.

Aaron Burkett competed in the 1650-yard free style and would place 16th with a time of 18:54.09. Additionally, the Devils would place eighth in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:24.99.

"Overall it was a really fun weekend for us filled with lots of great swims and PRs, I can't wait to see what next years team will do at SUNYACS", noted Bradley. 

Geneseo would go on to win the SUNYAC championship which would be the 10th straight title for the Knights. Cortland would place second followed by New Paltz in third. Results are listed below.
