FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team will open its 2023 campaign at the Cortland Red Dragon Invitational on Sept. 1st and 2nd. The Devils first home contest will be on Sept. 19 vs. Pitt-Bradford.
SUNYAC plays commences on the weekend of Sept. 29th and 30th when the Devils take on New Paltz on Friday and Oneonta on Saturday.
The team will look to rebound after a rare down season. One of the teams perennially at the top of the SUNYAC, they fell short of the post season a year ago. The Devils only have two players to replace. Four-year starter

However, the offense returns its top four leaders in kills: junior
Gabrielle Sordetto (199) and sophomores
Erin Callahan (166),
Gabrielle Chilcott (152), and
Amaya Lewczyk (149).

Kailea Sullivan led the defense with 278 and 250 digs, respectively.
