BUFFALO, N.Y. -- On Day 3 of the SUNYAC Championships, the finals for six events took place. Fredonia State earned points in four of the events. The Devil's top finishes were a pair of sixth-place finishes.
Kayla Hagen was sixth in the 100 backstroke in a time of
1:01.59. McKayla Polowy was sixth in the 200 freestyle in 1:58.86. Rachael Mayou was 10th in the same event in 2:00.66
Eighth place in the 200 medley relay went to the team of
Megan Orrange,
Violet Hess,
Alyssa Tarantelli, and
Kailey Kwoka in 2:14.80
Mindy Doktor was ninth in the 200 butterfly 1:03.77.
The Championships wrap up tomorrow with the final six swimming events to be held. The Devils currently sit in seventh place.
