Polowy , Hagen lead Devils

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- It was the final home meet for the Fredonia State swim team on Saturday. The Devils saw solid performances from senior McKayla Polowy (Silver Creek), who was honored before the meet on Senior Day, and Kayla Hagen.

Polowy took firsts in the 1,000 free, (11:18.59), the 200 free (2:04.85), and the 500 free (5:31.88).

Hagen took first in both the 100 back stroke (1:03.73) and the 200 back stroke (2:23.18), and second in the 50 free (26.16).

Other top finishers included:
- Violet Hess, third in the 100 breast in 1:23.86
- Rachael Mayou, third in the 500 free in 5:43.43
- Mindy Doktor, second in both the 100 fly (1:05.78) and 200 IM (2:26.94)

The team is off to Cortland next weekend for the final meet before the SUNYAC Championships.
