Nicole Burrows (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) made 19 saves for the second straight game, this one a 21-3 SUNYAC loss to nationally ranked Cortland.
She also had 19 saves Thursday in a 19-15 loss to Allegheny. The 38 saves are the most in two consecutive games in the history of the program, which began in 1996. The school record for saves in a game is 20, a record Burrows shares with two Sarah Wright (twice) and Nicole Faulise (twice).
The Blue Devils (0-9 overall / 0-3 SUNYAC) were outshot 54-11 by the No. 15 ranked Red Dragons (7-4 overall / 2-0 SUNYAC). A balanced Cortland attack consisted of 10 players with at least one goal, led by Hannah Lorenzen with four.

Casey Villagomez (West Seneca, N.Y./West Seneca West) led the Blue Devils with two goals and one assist. Sophomore attack
Madeline Haney (Cacedon, N.Y./Victor) also had a goal. Freshman defender
Alli Coon (Livonia, N.Y./Livonia) gathered three ground balls and three draw controls, Villagomez also had three draws plus two caused turnovers, and sophomore defender
Joshua Brzoza (Farmingdale, N.Y./Sachem East) took three ground balls.
Fredonia is back in SUNYAC action Tuesday when it plays host to Brockport at 4 p.m.
